Here is an article posted at FANGASM.com that expresses a different, and unfounded, point of view on why Ashgiel feels Studio 60 is going to be Deep Sixed. Personally I think the worst case scenario would be the show will be picked up by a healthier network, but professionally, the TV industry is living on false numbers that are not factually backed up from actual real people who what TV, but rather by the sponsors who want to pay the TV networks payroll. The TV just uses the terms ‘viewers’ as how they term are the people who watch the show, when in fact the viewers are the sponsors who are watching their money going out the window or into the bank from how their product appears on the show. SO, weather we like the show or not or weather the show is canned or runs for 25 years is up to the sponsors and not by what Ashgiel and crew say will be what takes place. So, enjoy the show, it is a good one and keep talking about it in blogs because, like in the Studio 60 episode B12, there are people in the TV industry who are actually reading this stuff.
